Promotions Intern / Student Assistant

This role focused on enhancing the image of campus dining halls and cafés through engaging social media content on Instagram and Facebook.

Responsibilities included photographing students and staff, covering campus dining events, creating graphics, promoting healthy eating initiatives, and developing multi-week marketing campaigns.

Content and campaigns were planned months in advance using Notion, supported by weekly meetings with the supervisor and team to align strategy and execution.

Oswego Passport Challenge

Designed a now annual campus-wide engagement campaign using stamp cards and promotional posters to encourage students to visit dining halls more frequently. Students collected stamps from participating locations for a chance to win free dining dollars, creating an interactive, incentive-driven experience that boosted attendance and fostered a stronger sense of campus community.

Students & Staff Photographs

Each week, I visited four dining halls to photograph students and staff enjoying the space.

These posts consistently performed well,

as students and employees were excited to see themselves featured and shared across the platforms.

The Bakeshop Series

I created, planned, and produced a three-part “Bakeshop Series,” filmed on-site at 5 a.m., offering students a behind-the-scenes look at the campus bakery. The series highlighted the handmade baked goods produced daily for campus dining halls and cafés, bringing visibility to a space many students didn’t know existed.

This became my absolute favorite project with Auxiliary Services!
